Danish Dutch... all the same

I read this: "Full bin Laden message posted. Apparently, he orders the death of some Dutch cartoonists. Whatever that means" on Fark.com.
Now I know my brother is in Denmark. I know he makes cartoons and I know DANISH cartoons might have offended Mr. Bin Laden...
But I guess I am going to be offended because those stupid Americans still do not know The Netherlands is NOT the capital of Kopenhagen...
I know they are in a fight with terrorists but do not send them our way because of your bad geographical knowledge!

A cold

Sometimes when it it just not your day...
had a cold, did not understand a word of what I was studying, had to cycle twice because I forgot half my books, sun was fading...
I did not intend to watch it.. but I guess it made my day: Legally Blonde.
Gotta love that movie. It doesn't matter how stupid you act sometimes... You will get the nice boy in the end, a career, and you can outsmart everyone.
Thank God I only have blonde moments once in a while.

Mormons

Today I saw some mormons walking around on campus. It reminded me when I was in Tucson and I got stuck with two of them for at least an hour. Now I still have a mormon bible and the phone number of one of them. Funny thing was I recognized them because they wore a suit and had the largest name tag I have ever seen. People in Holland just do not dress that way. Then I overheard them talking about Joseph Smith ( I tought was his name). Their more or less spiritual leader, profet, whatever you would like to call it. Then I was sure it were mormons.
They were talking to this Chinese girl, for at least an hour. I watched them for an hour as well.
It was Tucson all over again. A foreign girl, sitting on a bench, enjoying the sunshine....

Summer is coming.

Last night I had a definite "summer is coming" feeling.
I went to the bar long enough to see the sun rise when finished drinking.
Last couple of times, it didn't matter how late it was... it was still dark.
But now it started with a lot of bird whistling. Nice sound!
I was definitely spring when this morning I didn't have a hangover.

When deaf people are not listening

Have seen two deaf people walking the streets today. I particulary liked the fact that they did not really looked at one another while communicating in sign language.
So I guess they have got the same but more effective way of showing someone a conversation is boring.
